Commercial General Liability
Commercial insurance is more complex than personal insurance. There are multiple options that can be purchased individually, or as a package of two or more options.
The standard insurance policy is the Commercial General Liability. It protects against claims of bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage for large and small businesses. This includes two parts:
Products and Completed Operations covers bodily injury and property damage. This would protect you in cases such as the product you sell develops a defect or malfunction that causes injury or loss to a customer who purchased and used it.
Premises and operations coverage
Premises and Operations Coverage insures only against bodily injury and property damage claims caused by negligence of the property and everyday operations of conducting a business. This protects you if injury or damage occur on your premises or while operations are still in progress.
